Josue Orellana, B.S.
Josue Orellana is a graduate of the Washington State University, where he completed his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering (2012). He has also completed two summer research appointments at the Johns Hopkins University. During his undergraduate he was a recipient of the FANTEL Salvadorean Academic Excellence Scholarship. Josue’s research interests are primarily computational sensory neuroscience, and brain recovery from neurological disorders. His background includes electrophysiology/accelerometry, signal processing, and instrumentation for the monitoring of post cardiac arrest arousal in rodents. At SINAPSE he was involved in the Peripheral Nerve Injury and Clinical Hypothermia projects.
