Xiaoli Meng, Ph.D.

Xiaoli Meng was a Research Fellow in Singapore Institute for Neurotechnology (SINAPSE) and Department of Bioengineering, National University of Singapore. She received her B. Eng. degree in Communication Engineering and B. Mgmt. degree in Project Management from Tianjin University, China in 2007. In 2012, she has been awarded her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Sensor Network and Application Center (SNARC), Chinese Academy of Sciences, under the supervision of Prof. Jiankang Wu. She was also a visiting student at the Ambient Intelligence Laboratory, National University of Singapore, directed by Prof. Lawrence Wong Wai Choong and an intern at China-Singapore Institute of Digital Media Ltd, Singapore from 2009 to 2011.

Xiaoli's research interests include Human motion analysis, Context-aware health monitoring system, Information fusion, Pattern recognition, and Inertial navigation system. Her current research focuses on the development of human lower body exoskeleton for rehabilitation, along with novel neural (including brain machine interface), and sensory-motor control strategies.
