Antony Sagayaraj Irudayaswamy, PhD

Antony Sagayaraj Irudayaswamy received his B.Sc degree in Microbiology from Bharathiar University, India and M.Sc degree in Biomedical instrumentation science from Loyola College, India. He was enrolled in PhD programme in Department of Medicine at NUS (2009-2013). His doctoral research was focused on genetic regulation of human liver development and its therapeutic application. He is an active member of the Singapore Stem Cell Society Association (SSCS). His research interest includes stem cells, development biology and translational medicine. He is currently working on direct reprogramming of human fibroblast to oligodentrocyte precursor cells and its transplantation on spinal cord injury.
