Workshop on "Brain Connectivity : Structure and Function in Normal Brain and Disease"
Recently two huge programs in Human Brain Research were announced; the European Flagship program, “Human Brain Project” and the American, “Brain-Initiative Program”. Both programs are seeking to build map of the human brain and provide answers for how the brain works and how to cure mental and degenerative brain disorders.
These announcements have spurred an interest from the SINAPSE sponsors MINDEF and A*STAR, and encouraged us to explore ideas and projects to position SINAPSE to take advantage of this new research energy and new demand for neurotechnologies to support these large efforts. Hence, we are taking this step to organize a workshop on the topic of "Brain Connectivity: Structure and Function in Normal Brain and Disease."
The workshop will take place in the Center of Life Sciences Auditorium (#01-07) on May 17th from 09:30am to 13:30pm.
We are looking forward seeing you in the Workshop.
